12 Avatars-My Turn!

#38F is NOT my bra size, it’s my entry number, and you can see and/or vote for myself or your favorite here:

So many entries, so many beautiful avies!  Voting is open through Sunday, Sept. 23rd.

  1. Wow Q…you look amazing!

/me mutters about one vote per avatar and starts to see the merit of having an alt or 10 🙂

  2. loved the photo! just great!

  3. Thanks Maddy! And special thanks to you, Maria, o’ maker of the beret! 😉

Ya know I hesitated on entering this at all as I am just not good at asking for votes…I would rather receive 1 honest vote than 100 garnered from begging.

Then I hesitated even more about posting my entry here but after seeing so many others who DID, as witnessed on the Fashion Planet feed, I felt that it was only fair to myself to have equal exposure. So for me it wasn’t a “follow the herd” mentality; it was giving myself a fair shake.

None of these types of contests pass by without some kind of drama, or hard feelings, or jealousy..or hell, gaming votes (I’m sorry, but I do not want to win anything unless it’s deserved, fair and square…do you???)

As of this morning I had 7 votes, which is about 6 more than I expected actually LOL…I had a whopping grand total of 5 for the Lacoste contest months ago (so that tells ya how much I pimp myself out LOL). So thank you to those of you who have chosen to vote for me, whoever you are…it’s quite flattering!

As for the charity aspect of this contest, I am still a little unclear on how/who/what but if it’s something I’d have any say in, my choice would be an animal welfare organization which is a cause near and dear to my heart considering my 10 years of service as a shelter worker/dog rescue volunteer.

Thanks for reading my 2 pennies on the issue and why I did it; and for the record, I got a kick out of the Fashion Victim post relating to this topic 😉

  4. Ya look fab, Queenie. Love that coat and eek, love that same hair too. Also, I’m kinda tired of us all being made to feel ashamed of entering a contest. It’s like being ashamed of buying a lottery ticket.

  5. Thank you, Delilah 🙂
I had more typed here, but it’s becoming redundant and like beating a dead horse at this point LOL
So I’ll just say that I agree with your analogy.
